Nazi war criminal Priebke to be buried in a 'secret location' in either Italy or Germany

Nazi war criminal Erich Priebke, who died at the age of 100, will be buried in a "secret location" in Italy or Germany.

"We have an agreement with the authorities over the burial of Erich Priebke in a secret location," Priebke's lawyer Paolo Giachini told AFP on Saturday.

While Giachini told AFP Priebke will be buried in Italy, Italian news agency ANSA reported him saying Priebke will be buried "either in Italy or in Germany."

The issue of Priebke's burial has turned into a controversy when both Argentina, where his family resides, and Rome, where Priebke spent his last days on house arrest, refused to allow his burial.
