A close associate of Prime Minster Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday denied recent media reports that Sara Netanyahu was involved in her husband's political appointments and decision making. Shia Segel made the comments in an interview with Army Radio.
"There are those who deal in mudslinging, and recycling mudslinging, and recycling recycled mudslinging and there are those that act to strengthen Israel," said Segel.
Segel denied reports that Sara Netanyahu had insisted on a campaign slamming Kadima MK Tzipi Livni prior to elections in February 2009.
