Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu committed a major gaffe on Sunday night when he referred to former prime minister Ariel Sharon and added after his name "may his memory be blessed."

ceremony for Shas chairman Eli Yishai's daughter, Netanyahu was immediately told of his error and he corrected himself, saying that Sharon should "live a long life." Told of the incident by The Jerusalem Post
, Sharon's son, former MK Omri Sharon, said "I don't care, it's not important, and I am not interested in responding."
