MK Danny Atar (Zionist Union) tendered his resignation from the Knesset Monday, ahead of his beginning his term as chairman of Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael, the Israeli branch of the Jewish National Fund.

Atar's resignation will go into effect on Wednesday, the same day Yael Cohen Paran is expected to be sworn in to replace him in the Knesset.
