Nurses at Wolfson Hospital in Holon threatened on Sunday to leave the emergency room within half an hour if the department of internal medicine was not reopened.

According to the nurses, patients at the emergency room remain hospitalized there because of overcrowding in other departments, and it is not possible to provide them with proper professional care.

Five nurses are set to leave the emergency room, leaving only three to deal with emergencies.
