US President Barack Obama was reportedly set to meet Monday night with top-level officials and advisers from his administration for talks on military strategy in Afghanistan. Reuters reported that those involved in the meetings will include US Vice President Joe Biden, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, US Defense Secretary Robert Gates and others. The president has been under pressure to come to a decision regarding the escalation of troop levels in the Afghan theater.
