Israel's most senior military official in charge of coordinating the government's activities in the Palestinian territories denied an Arab newspaper report on Monday claiming that Jerusalem wished to postpone a meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
IDF Maj.-Gen. Yoav Mordechai, who holds the title of coordinator of government activities in the territories (COGAT), said that the report was "false."
