Oliver Stone's son: Ahmadinejad is 'really misunderstood'

Sean Stone, the son of acclaimed film director Oliver Stone, has defended Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as "really misunderstood." In an interview with Bill O'Reilly on Fox News, Stone attempted to explain controversial comments that the Iranian president has made in the past about Israel and the Holocaust.
The director's son explained that when Ahmadinejad "says Israel should be dissolved," he is "talking about the West Bank. On Holocaust denial, Stone said that the Iranian president's point has always been that if it happened in Europe, "Why should it influence Israeli policy in regards to the Palestinians?"
"It's simplistic to say that he's a fanatic," Stone said of the Iranian president, while insisting, "There's no room for holocaust denial of course."
