The Movement for Quality Government in Israel on Sunday appealed to the High Court of Justice for an injunction against the government’s decision to extend Shmuel Hollander's tenure as Civil Service Commissioner.

The group said that the decision contravenes a previous government decision to end his tenure in June, goes against recommendations to limit terms of top position holders, and against the advice of State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss.
