PM: Barak trying to look like a 'savior' of US-Israel ties

October 2, 2012 20:07

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday attacked his fellow coalition partner Defense Minister Ehud Barak for disloyalty, Channel 2 reported.

Speaking to Foreign Minister Eli Yishai, Netanyahu said "Barak flew to the US to facilitate the conflict with the Americans in order to portray himself like a savior."

Yishai in turn warned the prime minister that Barak would undermine the government over efforts to instate a new budget for 2013.
