PM fails to prevent Har Homa building discussion

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu did not prevent a Jerusalem District Planning and Building Committee meeting scheduled for Thursday which is set to discuss the approval of construction in the neighborhoods of Har Homa and Pisgat Ze'ev.

Hours before Netanyahu is set to travel to Washington to meet with US President Barack Obama, the committee will discuss two large building projects in the Jerusalem neighborhoods which are located beyond the Green Line. The committee will discuss the building of over 1,550 housing units in total.
