Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu visited an Israeli air base with Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon, and IDF chief of staff Benny Gantz on Wednesday afternoon. The prime minister met with the IAF chief, who gave him a security briefing, and with pilots and soldiers who operate the Iron Dome system.

He praised the pilots for their "extraordinary" achievements during Israel's weeks-long operation, saying "the most important thing is that we have the tools to defend the country and attack the enemy.

You have the nation's gratitude."
