Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu proposed to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak that he host a peace summit with the Palestinians in Cairo, Israeli officials said on Thursday.
Israeli sources said that Netanyahu made the proposal during his meeting earlier in the week with Murbarak in Egypt. PA President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to meet with Mubakrak next week.
