Parents kidnap 21-year-old tourist from US

Police found a missing 21-year-old tourist from the US overnight Monday after she was kidnapped by her parents.

The woman had stayed at family in Bnei Brak for several weeks, and claimed that her parents had been abusing her.

On Monday afternoon, her parents asked to see her, claiming they wanted to say goodbye before they returned to the US. When she did not return several hours later, her relatives in Bnei Brak called the police.

Police found the woman at 1:30 a.m. in Ben-Gurion Airport, on a plane to Bucharest. The three were taken off the plane, and police suspect that the girl was drugged.

Both parents were arrested, and will be brought to court on Tuesday morning.
