Passenger dead, driver seriously hurt in Galilee crash

A 20-year-old woman was killed and a 27-year-old man seriously injured in a Galilee car crash which occurred on Friday afternoon.

According to police, the car veered off course and crashed into a truck parked on the shoulder of the road near the village of Maghar. The driver was seriously injured; the woman in the passenger seat was killed.

Magen David Adom evacuated the driver to Haifa's Rambam Medical Center.
