Passengers protest at Tel Aviv Central train station

Passengers protested at Tel Aviv Central station on Monday claiming that the quality of service they experience is deplorable.
“We will no longer be hostages,” said Inbar Finkelstein in an interview on Channel 12 news, “we ask the train company will place us, the passengers, at the top of its priority list.”
Train services had gone steadily worse after the opening of the King David line connecting the Ben Gurion airport to Jerusalem.
Presented as a line connecting Tel Aviv to the capital, the line actually connects Tel Aviv to the airport from which a second line connects the airport to Tel Aviv.
The line requires wagons to function, and these wagons had been directed from other lines serving other parts of the country.
Delays, over-crowded wagons, and cancellations are often experienced by passengers.
