Peres says we need to continue with peace efforts

Speaking from his Succah in Jerusalem, President Shimon Peres said "we are in a period of uncertainty, but we can not stop making efforts to reach a peace deal."

"The weights that stand against this are heavy... but we can not stop for a moment to work towards peace," Peres continued.

The president said "we must find ways and look for ways, since peace is Israel's top interest."

"We have started a process, we need to continue on this path and I hope that we will do this in the coming days," he continued.
