President Shimon Peres is scheduled to meet on Sunday with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak at the latter's invitation.

The two presidents will discuss future cooperation on different levels between their two countries as well as the most recent developments in the peace process, specifically the importance that Peres attaches to direct talks between Israel and the Palestinians before the moratorium on construction in the settlements comes to an end in September.
