Police announced on Monday that a 14 year-old resident of Usfiya has admitted to inadvertently starting the fire which ravaged much of the Carmel region over three days.

The boy told investigators that he was smoking a nargila water pipe and threw a lit coal into an open area after he finished smoking and returned to his school without telling anyone what he had done.
