Police chief candidate to face harassment investigation

Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein on Thursday announced that the appointment of the next police commissioner will be suspended due to a sexual harassment investigation against a leading candidate for the position.

Weinstein told Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch that Major-General Uri Bar-Lev will be investigated for sexual harassment, in a case dating back two years.
