Police release Eyal Golan on house arrest after questioning over suspected sex scandal

Police released on Wednesday evening popular Israeli singer Eyal Golan on house arrest for five days following hours of questioning over suspicion of engaging in sexual relations with underage girls.

Authorities also released on house arrest two other suspects.

Golan's father and one other suspect were to stay in custody until a hearing slated for Thursday.
