The police are expecting disturbances and demonstrations in the Old City of Jerusalem on Friday and therefore have set an age limit at the Temple Mount, only allowing men aged 50 and older to enter the site.

Women of all ages are allowed to enter. A number of suspects were arrested in the Old City of Jerusalem late Thursday night after disturbances took place near the Temple Mount, according to the Police Foreign Press Spokesman.

The Israeli police also stated that they are deploying extra policemen and border policemen in the vicinity of the Old City to respond to any disturbances.
