Pre-IDF students clash with Beduin near Jericho, no injuries reported

An altercation broke out Wednesday night between dozens of pre-military students and a group of Beduin near Jericho.

About 60 students from the IDF Preparatory Academy in Bet-El, touring the area accompanied by four security guards, clashed with resident from a nearby Beduin encampment. During the argument, a guard fired a shot into the air, saying he felt threatened. No injuries were reported in the incident. Police questioned the students' security guards along with three local Beduin residents.
