Prosecution stage in Olmert, Zaken trial ends

The prosecution stage in the trial of former prime minister Ehud Olmert and his bureau chief Shula Zaken ended on Thursday at Jerusalem District Court.

Olmert's one-time attorney and close friend Uri Messer testified at the trial.

The defense stage of the trial is set to begin on May 30 and the first witness will be Olmert himself.
