Rabbi Druckman didn't sign letter, identifies with struggle

Or Etzion Yeshiva head Rabbi Haim Druckman on Thursday emphasized that he did not sign the controversial statement against renting or selling a house or plot of land to non- Jews in Israel.
Druckman said that he identified with the national struggle to maintain Israel as a Jewish state and was aware of Safed's having to deal with enemies from abroad sending money into Israel to undermine the state's Jewish nature; however, Druckman's principles prevented him from making an all-encompassing statement against non-Jews, he said in a statement.
