Radical left wing activist Tali Fahima converted to Islam at a ceremony in an Umm el-Fahm mosque Monday.

The conversion ceremony was attended by leaders of the community.

The ceremony itself only took a few minutes. After sitting on the floor of the mosque with various sheikhs and explaining why she wanted to convert, she was declared a Muslim.
