Rafah border crossing to be used by Hajj pilgrims

The Gaza crossings authority announced on Sunday that the Rafah border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt is set to be used by Hajj pilgrims for one week in 2010, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported.
The crossing will operate in one direction from 3 to 9 November to make travel easier and faster for pilgrims leaving to Saudi Arabia via Egypt, according to a statement released by authorities, Ma'an reported.
The statement continued to outline that the crossing will return to normal operation once all the pilgrims have crossed.
