Beduins in Sinai abducted six Egyptian soldiers, Sky News Arabia reported Tuesday.

According to the report, which cited Egyptian security sources, negotiations are underway for the soldiers' release.

Earlier in May, Beduins also captured six Egyptian soldiers but released them after the Egyptian military deployed armored tanks in the area, according to Ma'an News Agency.
