Report: Blair mounts campaign to rescue Palestinian firm

Quartet envoy Tony Blair rescued a Palestinian cell phone company on the verge of bankruptcy owned by a client where he is employed as a consultant, The Daily Mail reported in its Sunday issue.

The report claimed that the former British prime minister mounted an intense political lobbying campaign to save the firm, Wataniya, which is owned by JP Morgan.
