TUNIS - Forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi were shelling Zuara, a Libyan port town about 60 km (40 miles) from the Tunisian border, Al Arabiya television reported on Tuesday.

Libya's rebel National Transitional Council will seek international funds to help the North African state recover from a six-month war that has paralyzed the economy, the NTC's prime minister, Mahmoud Jibril, said on Tuesday.
