The Hamas leadership in the Gaza Strip was meeting with the leadership of other Palestinian factions on Saturday to brief them on details of the prisoner exchange deal it reached with Israel last week, Israel Radio reported. The briefings also included plans the group has for receiving released Palestinian prisoners once they arrive in the Strip.

Among its preparations for the expected release of prisoners, the report added, senior Hamas officials have been visiting the families of prisoners to inform them of their relatives' impending release.
