Shortly after Sudan's Foreign Minister Ali Karti on Wednesday accused Israel of carrying out an attack on Tuesday near Port Sudan that killed two people, Arabic news daily Al-Arabiya reported that one of the targets was a senior commander of Hamas's military wing.
The report said that the second man that was killed was a local citizen.
Sudan's foreign minister said Khartoum reserved the right to react to the aggression. "This is absolutely an Israeli attack," he told reporters.
