The verdict in the trial of former president Moshe Katsav will be given on December 28, Army Radio reported on Thursday.

Katsav was charged in 2007 with two counts of rape and other sexual crimes against three women who worked for him while he was minister of tourism and during his presidency.

The trial began with the reading of the indictment on May 14, 2009.
