After Hezbollah set off a large bomb targeting two IDF vehicles on the Israel-Lebanon border on Monday, Russia
turned to the Shi'ite militant group and asked it not to escalate tensions with the Jewish State, according to a report in Al Arabiya.
The IDF responded with cross-border artillery fire at targets in Lebanon following the attack. No IDF soldiers were injured in the Hezbollah attack. According to Al Arabiya, Moscow is acting to calm the situation on Israel's northern border with Lebanon.
