Right-wing protest OK'd at Umm el-Fahm

Despite warnings from the Attorney's Office that right-wing protests in Umm el-Fahm could lead to disturbances and violence, the Supreme Court said Thursday it would allow MK Michael Ben-Ari, Baruch Marzel, and Itamar Ben Gvir to hold a demonstration there, although not outside offices of the Islamic Movement.
The demonstration will take place at the end of the holidays in September.
Raed Salah recently began serving a 5-month jail sentence for assaulting a police officer during a 2007 demonstration in Jerusalem.
