Risby-Raz declared hostile witness in Olmert case

The State Attorney's Office has declared Rachel Risby-Raz a hostile witness on Tuesday, after her testimony in court contradicted her previous testimony to the police.

Risby-Raz told the police that former prime minister Ehud Olmert and aide Shula Zaken decided which organizations will fund Olmert's trips abroad, but in court she avoided answering the question.

Risby-Raz headed Olmert’s foreign liaison office while he was mayor of Jerusalem, minister of industry, trade and labor, and prime minister. Sge has also been indicted for her role in this affair, but is being tried separately.
