'Rockets prevent Ban Ki-moon, Bildt from Kabul landing'

STOCKHOLM — Rocket fire prevented a plane carrying UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt from landing at Kabul's airport in Afghanistan, officials said Tuesday.
The Swedish Foreign Ministry confirmed the information, first reported on Bildt's blog.
In it, Bildt said that he and Ban landed instead at the US Bagram base, outside Kabul, early Tuesday, then traveled aboard Blackhawk helicopters to an international conference in the capital on Afghanistan's future.
