S. Africa says it will vote in favor of Palestinian state

South Africa's President Jacob Zuma announced on Wednesday that that his country would vote in favor of a Palestinian state if the issue is brought to discussion at the UN Security Council.
During an address to the 66th United Nations General Assembly in New York, Zuma said that the establishment of a Palestinian state will be a step towards peace in the Middle East.
