Around 6,000 marchers participated Wednesday in the tenth day of the Gilad Schalit "Freedom March" which took place on Route 1 going from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Participants headed from Latrun to Jerusalem, planning to reach the capital on Thursday.

In the direction of Tel Aviv, traffic was reported from Shoresh to Sha'ar Hagai.  Heavy congestion in the direction of Jerusalem was encountered from Latrun to Sha'ar Hagai.

Drivers are recommended to use Route 443 as an alternative route.
