The Schalit family and thousands of participants in the "freedom march" to release captured IDF soldier Gilad Schalit marched down Rehov Arlozorov Monday morning after stopped at the Akirov Towers to meet with Defense Minister Ehud Barak's wife, Nava.

The Schalits and their supporters were making their way to Rabin Square, where they were planning to hold a rally in support of efforts to secure Gilad's release.
