Protestors commemorated the anniversary of the Sheikh Jarrakh demonstrations throughout Israel on Friday.

Protests were held in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Ramle, Lod, Beer Sheva, Taibe, Wadi Ara, Raanana, Gan Shmuel and Kfar Yasif, against what the organizers called "the Judaization of east Jerusalem." They plan to gather in Sheikh Jarrah at 4:00 p.m.

The demonstration's organizers said 700 marchers gathered in Tel Aviv, including MKs Haim Oron (Meretz), Dov Henin (Hadash) and Ahmed Tibi (Ta'al).
