Police arrested six Arab protesters in Jerusalem on Saturday who were involved in a demonstration
in advance of Land Day on Sunday.

Some 50 demonstrators gathered on Sultan Suleiman street in east Jerusalem where stones
were hurled at police. There were no injuries in the incident police said.

Land Day is an annual event that commemorates six Israeli Arabs killed by security forces during riots on March 30, 1976, which were held to protest the state appropriation of Arab land in the Galilee.
