Four soldiers from the Armored Corps were sentenced to 40 days confinement to their base after they were found asleep inside their tank along the Gaza border.

The soldiers were discovered sleeping by a group of reservists on patrol along the volatile border. The incident took place near the Kerem Shalom Crossing and not far from the spot where Gilad Schalit was kidnapped from over five years ago.

The incident was first reported on Israel Radio.
