Steinitz reacts to Shani's resignation, praises him

Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz reacted Sunday morning to the news of Finance Ministry Director-General Haim Shani, praising him and his contribution to the economy.

Steinitz said in a statement that he accepted Shani's resignation with regret, saying he is "one of the most talented managers in the entire public sector and his contribution toward [economic] growth and the reducing unemployment is invaluable." Steinitz said he thanked Shani for the privilege of working alongside him.
