Student sent to jail for setting teacher's car on fire

A former student in an Ashkelon high school was charged on Thursday with 13 months in jail for threatening a teacher and attempting to set her car on fire.

He had sent her a threatening text message, slashed her tires and poured gasoline on the roof of the teacher's car. The former student will also have to pay the teacher NIS 5,000.
