Family and staff members held a surprise toast Thursday afternoon in honor of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu 61st birthday. At 5:30 in the afternoon his secretaries asked him to come into the cabinet room in his Jerusalem bureau where everyone, including his wife and children, applauded and sang "Happy Birthday."

Military Secretary Major General Yohanan Locker and Cabinet secretary Tzvi Hauser thanks Netanyahu for his round the clock work on the state's behalf. Hauser added that he was a fatherly figure for everyone in the bureau.

Netanyahu said in response," I have been blessed with a good and supportive family. I have a wife and children who care about me and the state. One one hand we live our daily lives, with the English test or our son's army experiences. On the other hand, we have to worry about the state's existence, an existence which is not obvious. This principle is deeply rooted in our family life."
