The Irish army's bomb disposal squad was called to the Israeli embassy in Dublin Tuesday to check out a suspicious package that turned out to be harmless, Foreign Ministry officials confirmed.
The officials said initial reports that the embassy building was evacuated were incorrect, and that the building was not vacated. The package, which raised suspicion at the embassy, arrived in the regular post.
