Syrian President Bashar Assad said Monday that worsening relations between Israel and Turkey threaten the stability of the region.

Assad warned that if "relations between Israel and Turkey are not renewed, it will be very difficult for Turkey to continue its role in the negotiations."

The Syrian president called Israeli attacks the real reason for deterioration in regional stability.
