There won't be a war in the Middle East anytime soon, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem said in a Thursday interview.
According to Moallem, Israel won't be able to declare war without Washington's permission.
In the interview with Radio Monte-Carlo, Moallem said talks between Damascus and Washington could not move any further, because the US had not fulfilled its commitments. He hinted at Washington's failure to post a new ambassador in Syria due to reports of Syria transferring missiles to Hamas.
