AMMAN - Syrian troops stormed the village of Managh near the border with Turkey on Thursday in an escalating military push in rural regions just north of the commercial hub of Aleppo, residents of Aleppo said.

"I was contacted by relatives from Managh (15 km south of Turkey). Armored personnel carriers are firing their machine guns randomly and people are fleeing the village in all directions," one of the Aleppo residents said.
